Manuel Marquez, MD, is an experienced doctor and travel professional. As a tour director with Anaheim, California’s Insight Vacations, he leads motor coach expeditions throughout the United States, while his role as a group leader with Road Scholar in Boston, Massachusetts, is focused on tour groups in Cuba. In both capacities, Manuel Marquez, MD, seeks to provide each tour member with an enjoyable, culturally rich travel experience.

Beyond his international travel activities, Dr. Marquez has held positions such as Buenaventura Medical Group board president, assistant area medical director at Southern California Medical Group, and clinical research coordinator with PMK Medical Group.

Manuel Marquez, MD, studied chemistry at Harvard University in Cambridge, graduating magna cum laude with a bachelor of arts. He subsequently completed a doctoral program at the University of California, Los Angeles Medical School, where he became a member of the Alpha Omega Alpha Honor Medical Society, and undertook a family practice residency at the Ventura County Medical Center. More recently, Dr. Marquez achieved tour director certification with the International Tour Management Institute (ITMI) in San Francisco.
