The recipient of a doctor of medicine (MD) from Georgetown University, Margaret Byrne is an experienced physician with a diverse background in multiple medical fields who specializes in holistic care. Since 2015, Margaret Byrne, MD has worked with Dallas, Texas' Censeo Health, where she conducts physical exams and monitors drug observations for patients diagnosed with multiple sclerosis. She also lends her time to the Capital Caring Hospice, where she provides grief counseling and leads workshops for both patients and staff members.
Prior to joining Censeo Health, Dr. Margaret Byrne operated a solo obstetrics and gynecology practice in Washington, D.C. for 15 years. During that time, she provided medical care for women throughout their pregnancy in consultation with specialists. She also volunteered briefly with the Spanish Catholic Medical Clinic and worked for four years at the Columbia Hospital for Women. In addition to her work as a physician, she served 14 years as a resident teacher at the Vajrayogini Buddhist Center, where she conducted meditation retreats and taught courses for teachers in training.
