Mario is a product of Flint and Beecher school districts. He graduated from Beecher High School in 1999, and since then, he has earned multiple degrees: an AAS in Network Systems Administration; a double Bachelor's in Information Systems Engineering and Network Security; and an MS in Technology and Innovation Management with a specialization in Data Science. He has CompTIA A+ certification and is working toward a Ph.D. in Information Technology with a concentration in Data Analytics. He is very interested in infusing technology at a higher level in the Flint Community School district. Mario is an Eligibility Specialist & Training Facilitator at the State of Michigan.

Mario wants to raise the level of the school board to a higher level of functioning. He wants to add stability to the board. Once Mario sets his mind to do something, he sees it through--finds out more information, qualifies himself, and goes to work on the task.

He has a special interest in halting the school to prison pipeline and restorative justice as part of a solution. Additionally, he was recently named to Mayor Neeley's Community Advisory Task Force for the police department.
