Holding an MBA in finance from Drake University along with CFA, CIA, and CPA designations, Mark Allen Hanrahan is a skilled financial professional in the field of commercial real estate investment with a proven ability to source and close high quality investment opportunities. He has held such positions as staff accountant for Carney, Alexander & Marold CPAs and managing director of acquisitions and dispositions for Principal Global Investors' commercial real estate practice . Throughout his more than 20-year career, he has been a voting member of several major accounts and led a number of major transactions in acquisitions, dispositions and development. Currently, Mark Allen Hanrahan leverages his solid educational and professional background to source and close venture capital and real estate transactions as a managing partner at Markmel Co., LLC.

In his free time, Mr. Hanrahan is an avid triathlon competitor . He has completed more than 60 triathlons, six of which were full Ironman races, and regularly competes in local races for both conditioning and camaraderie. Some of the Ironman races he has completes include the Coeur d'Alene, Wisconsin, Florida, and Houston races, and he also completed the 2010 St. George race, which is believed to have had some of the harshest conditions for a long distance triathlon. In addition to that, he completed an Ironman Event through the Alps in Austria.
