The vice president of finance for the North Dakota operations of Discovery Builders, Mark LaBere holds a BS in engineering management from the University of North Dakota in Grand Forks, and both a BS and an MBA with a concentration in accounting and finance from the University of Mary in Bismarck. While working toward his MBA, Mark LaBere served as a mentor for undergraduate business students at the University of Mary.

Over the course of a career in senior management that spans more than 30 years, Mark LaBere has served as chief financial officer (CFO)/vice president of finance of Heating & Plumbing Engineers, CFO/business partner with AscendCFO, and sage advisor for the Rocky Mountain Innosphere Entrepreneurial Program at Colorado State University. He also completed oil/gas and energy studies at the Southern Methodist University Cox School of Business, and oversaw the finances of the gas production automation and optimization company Universal Well Site Solutions.
