Mark Paskewitz

An Executive Interested in Arts and Culture

National Institute of Clinical Research Inc

A leader in the pharmaceutical industry, Dr. Mark Paskewitz balances a busy career as a clinical operations executive with the pursuit of a wide range of hobbies. Passionate about arts and culture, he especially enjoys listening to the classical works of Baroque-era Italian composers, such as Arcangelo Corelli and Tomaso Albinoni. He also lists Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart as his favorite composer in history. Furthermore, Dr. Mark Paskewitz enjoys reading about US and European history, as well as practicing his French and Spanish language skills by reading about politics and current issues in native-language publications.

In addition to listening to classical music and reading, during his free time, Dr. Mark Paskewitz visits art museums and learns about his favorite artists. His artistic tastes range from admiring Modernist masters, such as Henri Matisse, to Renaissance artists, such as El Greco and Leonardo da Vinci. Dr. Paskewitz particularly appreciates the work of Impressionist painters, such as Edouard Manet, Jean Renoir, and Camille Pissarro.

Professionally, Dr. Mark Paskewitz serves as vice president of clinical operations for a Los Angeles-based clinical research company. In this role, he draws upon experience gained at companies, such as Kyowa Kirin, where he guided development of the first pharmaceutical drug dedicated to combating the bone disease X-linked hypophosphatemia (XLH).
