With over 30 years of experience in the retail banking industry, Mary Tritsis has spent the past decade as President of Kindness is Doing Something Special for Kids (K.I.D.S.S. for Kids), a charitable organization that raises money for the Ann & Robert H. Lurie Children’s Hospital of Chicago. Mary Tritsis’s accomplishments with the organization raises funding to support Family Services at the Ann & Robert H. Lurie Children’s Hospital of Chicago.

Ms. Tritsis also helped organize the Step Up for Kids, the largest athletic event at Lurie Children’s, which raises more than $850,000 each year. She has grown the event by 40 percent since its inception through registration changes, corporate relationships, and building awareness with large teams.

Recently, Mary Tritsis was hired as the Director of Lending at Accion, where she will leverage her financial knowledge and non-profit experience to assist small businesses throughout Illinois and Indiana. Earlier in her career, Ms. Tritis served as Senior Vice President for BankFinancial in Burr Ridge, where she developed and evaluated incentive programs, sales and marketing initiatives, and business plans.
