An information technology professional with broad experience in systems administration and project management, Mathew Horton has served as a senior project analyst with Walmart Technology in Bentonville, Arkansas, since 2015. In this position, Mathew Horton analyzes problems and implements technical solutions that streamline processes, improve productivity, and save the company money. In recognition of his accomplishments, he has received five “Associate of the Month MVP” awards and the 2016 Walmart Technology Genesis Award.
Prior to joining Walmart Technology, Mr. Horton spent 3 years as owner and manager of Vintage Crush, where he sourced and renovated old furniture to create unique custom pieces for resale. He also offered classes to teach customers how to refinish their own furniture.
Mr. Horton is a Six Sigma Green Belt and graduate of Northwest Technical Institute, where he studied computer information systems. Active in his local community, Mr. Horton has served as an ambassador with the Northwest Arkansas Children’s Shelter since 2013, and is campaign chair for the Associates in Critical Need Trust.
