Over the course of his career, Nasdaq Senior Vice President and Senior Advisor Matthew “Matt” Brown has leveraged an in-depth knowledge of technology sales, corporate development, and mergers and acquisitions (M&A) to facilitate growth in the financial technology space. He entered the industry as an inside sales representative for CCBN, where he became the top performer in his role in his second year of service. Remaining with the company through a series of mergers that would eventually lead to a position with Nasdaq, Matt Brown quickly rose through the ranks at Thomson Financial and then Thomson Reuters, accepting a series of promotions in sales roles in increasing scope and revenue responsibility.

Matthew Brown continued to excel in a series of management and revenue leadership roles, including the positions of Head of Sales Specialists Americas Corporate Services, and then Head of Americas Sales & Account Management.

Following the acquisition of this business unit by Nasdaq in 2013, Matt Brown first served as Vice President, Head of Americas Sales before being named Global Head of Sales in 2015. He played a key role in integrating two strategic acquisitions during this time. He was recently named Senior Vice President and Senior Advisor to the Corporate Solutions division at Nasdaq.
