Matt Skinner is a California-based real estate professional with close to two decades of experience in the industry. During Matt Skinner’s career, he has owned and operated several firms including Thrive Capital, which he established in 2014.

With the company, Mr. Skinner has overseen a range of projects, such as the purchase of over 1,000 apartments in Texas in 2009. In conjunction with another firm he owns, Empire West Equities, Inc., he is also building two 10,000-square-foot homes in Newport Harbor.

With the residences, Mr. Skinner looks to generate an above-market return on investment on behalf of his investors, with one of the houses recently being listed at an asking price of $24.8 million. The other home, designed in a modern style, has yet to be completed.

Alongside Matt Skinner’s career in real estate, he has spent time as a mixed martial artist and professional cage fighter. He began training for the sport in 2009.
