Matthew Eriksen, the president and chief executive officer of 4XF, Inc., joined North Shore School District 112 in Highland Park, IL, as associate principal of Edgewood Middle School. He spent two years in this role, during which time he developed and published a handbook for the school’s extracurricular activities and athletics. In the summer of 2009, Matthew Eriksen was promoted to principal of Edgewood Middle School, as well as principal of Indian Trail, also in Highland Park, IL, and District 112. In this expanded leadership position, he maintained a 98 percent retention rate for new hires over seven years.

Mr. Eriksen joined 4XF, a developer of executive function products designed for the education sector, in 2015. Under his leadership sales have risen by 150 percent, while the 4XF client base has expanded by 75 percent. Meanwhile, his efforts on a revamped customer survey initiative has yielded twice as many referrals compared to previous surveys.

Matthew Eriksen studied educational leadership at National Louis University in Chicago. He also holds a master of arts in educational leadership from Northeastern Illinois University, and an undergraduate degree in education from Illinois State University.
