A multitalented individual, Matthew Gordon lettered in gymnastics in high school; studied at the Culinary Institute of America; and cofounded Eco ReBox, a packaging and shipping company with a focus on environmental sustainably. Over the past 36 years, Matthew Gordon has also worked in real estate development in Florida, Denver, Chicago, Encinitas, and San Diego County areas.
Since 2013, Matthew Gordon has overseen the construction and renovation of numerous residential and commercial buildings as a real estate developer with San Diego based firm Janco Developer. These projects include the complete restoration of the Wyatt Earp Building (the most frequently photographed structure in San Diego) and other historic buildings in the celebrated Gaslamp Quarter. Mr. Gordon is also on the cutting edge of the latest green building technologies and is currently developing some of the first infill carbon-neutral and net-zero-energy homes in the San Diego region.
When Mr. Gordon is not working, he enjoys cooking and traveling. He has traveled to different countries in Europe and Asia as well as to China and India to take part in philanthropic work.
