A successful Los Angeles executive, Mehrdad Michael Farhat has led Misa Los Angeles as chief executive officer since 2015. In this position, he oversees design and production for the internationally recognized women’s fashion line, in addition to handling manufacturing and sales. Originally established by Shadi Askari-Farhat, Misa Los Angeles aims to embody a spirit of effortless femininity through its attention to detail. Each piece is handmade and goes through up to 50 steps to come to life. Over the past 3 years, Mehrdad Michael Farhat has led the company to exponential growth.

A graduate of Pepperdine University, Mr. Farhat holds a bachelor of arts in business. Prior to joining Misa Los Angeles, he spent 13 years as a vice president with Merrill Lynch, where he advised high-net-worth individuals and businesses. When he is not working, he pursues hobbies such as skiing, cycling, and fitness training. A wine aficionado, he also enjoys traveling and spending time with his two daughters.
