Metro Psychology Support Services is an Adult Rehabilitative Mental Health Services (ARMHS) program that operates through the funding, and in compliance with, the Minnesota Department of Human Services. Working to meet the needs of clients spanning the Twin Cities region, Metro Psychology Support Services provides well trained mental health practitioners who assist those with mental health diagnoses and functional impairments.

A core mission of the ARMHS program is to enable personal transformation that allows independent living and the development of social skills. Individuals learn new approaches to interpersonal communication, while gaining a skill set centered on coping with the effects of mental illness.

Progress under the program, which typically involves once a week meetings and a tailored goal plan, is monitored throughout the process. After six months, recovery and skill-building progress is assessed and a determination made as to whether further ARMHS services are needed. A fundamental Metro stance is that treatment provide impactful, pro-client assistance, while valuing their staff of mental health practitioners as they work toward career goals and receive extended training.
