Prior to focusing solely on growing the business, Michael Coppola served as chief of police with the Palisades Interstate Parkway Police Department (PIPPD).
Michael Coppola joined the department in 2001 and, over the course of his 17-year law enforcement career, received nine letters of commendation. In addition, he established the second-largest law enforcement marine unit on the Hudson River, created a bicycle unit, implemented a new radio system, and served as commander for all major events in the New Jersey section.
Prior to joining the PIPPD, Mr. Coppola worked as a ranger with the New Jersey State Park Police, where he earned the Merit Award. He also worked as a dispatcher at Rochelle Park Police Department, Bergen County Police Department, and Bergen County Sheriff's Department.
