After receiving his BS in business administration and finance with high honors from the University of Florida and JD, cum laude, from the University of Michigan Law School, Michael Elliott Rubinger went on to acquire substantial experience in joint-venture transactions, mergers and acquisitions and venture capital and emerging-growth financing as a corporate lawyer. His experience includes private practice and time spent in-house with a publicly traded company. A partner with Nelson Mullins Riley & Scarborough LLP, Michael Elliott Rubinger has been admitted to practice law in Georgia.

For the past eight years, Mr. Rubinger has represented clients in a range of private equity-backed transactions, including the $60 million sale of a health care IT company and $35 million purchase of a quick-service restaurant (QSR) company. He recently closed a transaction involving the recapitalization by a private equity fund of a leading manufacturer of floor matting, maintenance pads and related products.
