A graduate of the State University of New York at Plattsburgh, Michael Fish of Albany earned an undergraduate degree in business administration and political science and served as vice president of the Sigma Tau Gamma fraternity. Michael Fish holds a law degree from Albany Law School in New York, where he led the Student Bar Association Philanthropy Committee. To prepare for his career, he interned with Northwestern Mutual, setting himself apart as a Top 5 intern out of 3500 across the country.
Mr. Fish joined Northwestern Mutual, ranked by NerdWallet as Best Life Insurance Company, as a financial representative in 2018. In addition to providing a range of financial planning and consulting services, he oversees and acts as a mentor to several interns. To give back to his local community, Mr. Fish has lent his support to organizations such as the Elmore SPCA, Ronald McDonald House, and pediatric cancer nonprofit Alex’s Lemonade Stand Foundation. Currently, he is pursuing designation as a Certified Financial Planner with the American College of Financial Services.
