Massachusetts-based sales and marketing professional Michael Koenig draws on a history of revenue generation in the technology sector. In 1995, he became a senior account executive with Gartner, Inc., where he developed relationships with C-suite executives and vice presidents at Fortune 500 companies and other global organizations. From this role, Michael Koenig of Massachusetts went on to serve Gartner for 22 years, during which he rose through levels of increasing responsibility to become vice president of high-tech marketing for the North American region.
Appointed to the position as North American sales leader for HTTP, he led sales for the newly launched flagship product Gartner for Business Leaders. Michael Koenig brought the product's revenue to $400 million over his tenure. Effective in driving significant growth nearly every year, he also secured $4.3 million in incremental revenue in 2016 alone. Mr. Koenig achieved this income growth as a direct result of his program leadership at industry events across North America.
