Michael Kunka is a resident of Waco, Texas, who excelled as a student of Midway High School from 2016 to 2020. In addition to gaining admittance to the National Honor Society, he served on the Midway Student Council and help membership in both the Spanish Club and the Business Professionals of America. As a singer, Michael Kunka has contributed to both the Meistersingers and the Select Men’s Choir. A multitalented Midway athlete, he competed at the varsity level on both the swim team and the water polo team, and at the junior varsity level on both the football team and the golf team.

Michael Kunka also held several jobs during high school, including a lifeguard position with the Ridgewood Country Club and a food server position with Bushes Chicken. He also started a business of his own during his sophomore year, providing comprehensive lawn care and performing odd jobs as the owner of MAK Lawn Services. Since graduating, Mr. Kunka has continued to operate MAK, serving a client base that includes a number of local businesses.
