As the global director of executive protection with the Oracle Corporation, Michael Spearman oversees personal security details both domestically and abroad. Located in the San Francisco Bay Area city of Redwood Shores, California, he serves a client base of
E-level and C-suite senior administrators. Before joining the Oracle team in 2018, Michael Spearman led operations throughout the West Coast as a regional director with the large protective services provider FAM International.

Prior to his work in private security, Mr. Spearman served 13 years as a police officer in El Cerrito, California. During his final four years with the El Cerrito Police Department, he investigated crime as part of its detective unit.

Also a military veteran, Michael Spearman rose to the rank of lance corporal in the United States Marine Corps. After two years of military service that included assisting in the protection of visiting dignitaries with the Defense Security Service, he accepted an honorable discharge in 1988.

In addition to his professional responsibilities, Mr. Spearman stays involved with industry organizations such as the American Society of Industrial Security and the International Organization of Black Security Executives. In his free time, he enjoys reading and hiking.
