Based in Chicago, Mike Dorsey is a private capital analyst with Cresset Partners, an alternative asset investing group. There, he supports the team via financial modeling, performing due diligence, conducting market and firms research and analysis, and aiding in deal structuring in the financial services and health care spaces. Previously a senior associate with Field Partners, LLC, Mike Dorsey oversaw commercial real estate investment and development activities.

During Mike’s tenure at Field Partners, he was responsible for a broad range of work in the real estate investment and development business. He supported the team by sourcing deals, analyzing opportunities, structuring partnerships and securing capital for the projects. His role also included project management responsibilities, from hiring contractors to working with local authorities to fulfill regulatory requirements

Mike earned his BS at Wake Forest University in North Carolina and completed his MBA at the University of Chicago Booth School of Business. He began his career as a sales project lead with the pharmaceutical firm Lundbeck, Inc., where he was helped to create a pilot project that employed data analysis to improve outside sales efficiency by identifying target physicians.
