Mike Spolar is a financial and accounting executive who owns the client-focused Lackey & Company, CPAs, in Cleveland, Ohio. He provides assurance services that include reviewing documents and transactions, and he offers tax, payroll, and bookkeeping solutions. Mike Spolar manages the full spectrum of client interactions as well as operational functions, such as sales and billing.

Community activities are an important part of Mr. Spolar’s identity. He is a longstanding member of the Ohio High School Athletic Association (OHSAA). Through the OHSAA, he has refereed volleyball, basketball, football, and women’s lacrosse. He is also active in the Westlake Chamber of Commerce and a parishioner of Saint Clare Church. He served as finance board president of Saint Francis School from 2004 to 2007 and also headed the Saint Francis Boosters.

Mr. Spolar has held several positions in the financial industry with firms such as Morgan Stanley Smith Barney and Ernst & Young. In the early 1990s, Mike Spolar was an IMG executive with a focus on meeting the needs of professional athletes in areas such as budgeting, negotiating contracts, and estate and retirement planning.
