Michael “Mike” Paulercio is a longtime City of Mount Vernon employee who directs consumer protection activities throughout the New York city. He has a son also named Mike Paulercio who studies at Westchester Community College in NY and has career goals in the physical education field. A grocery clerk in Yonkers at Stew Leonard’s over the past four years, his son achieved distinction through a college scholarship awarded by the retailer.
The younger Paulercio is also an accomplished graphic designer who engaged in community service while in high school, volunteering with children with autism. He currently assists freshmen entering his college as a peer advisor and has achieved Dean’s List recognition.
Beyond his work ensuring that Mount Vernon, New York, consumer fraud matters are investigated, the senior Paulercio is an avid deep-sea fisherman. He has had the opportunity to explore Caribbean waters off of Costa Rica and enjoys creating hand-crafted cocktails.
