Founded in 1989, our business was started by Dr. Christen Jankowski, who is still one of our doctors. Dr. J — as he’s often called — served seven years abroad in the military before coming back home to become an optometrist. After getting his license, he returned into service to work four more years abroad, serving patients at the 34th General Hospital in Germany. After his service, he returned to the states and started his own solo practice, which would eventually grow into the Mountain View EyeCare Center that exists today.
