Providing care to patients in New York, Dr. Mustafain Meghani practices at Albany Associates in Cardiology and maintains affiliation with St. Peter’s Hospital. Dr. Mustafain Meghani’s work builds on fellowship training in his field completed at Staten Island University Hospital.
Dr. Meghani also undertook a residency at Staten Island University Hospital, where he served as chief resident while pursuing internal medicine studies. In 2012, he presented on the topic “Internal carotid artery redundancy and dissection in a young cocaine abuser” at the annual meeting of the Society of Hospital Medicine. He also spoke on the topic “US Seniors Often Match to Internal Medicine Programs that are far from their Medical Schools” before the American Medical Association’s Resident and Fellow Section.
Dr. Meghani’s academic background includes electrical engineering studies at Auburn University. He subsequently pursued studies at the Medical University of the Americas and completed clinical work in Louisiana. He has written extensively in his field, and been published in the Journal of Clinical Ultrasound and the Expert Review of Cardiovascular Therapy.
