Free topic
Writing an essay on a free topic is more difficult than writing a finished one: not only the work itself but also the wording of the topic will be evaluated. It's very hard to deal with a free topic. So it would be better to choose one in advance. Personally i prefer to write on social topics. My last one was drug abuse essay . In this case, it is better to focus on cliches and samples of compositions and not choose too original themes.

Rules for registration
If the work needs to be written in a lesson or pairs, the main rule for writing an essay is neat and clear handwriting. Also, do not forget to start a new thought with a paragraph and observe the rules of spelling and punctuation.

Work structure
As in any creative work, the following elements are distinguished in the structure of the composition:

introduction (a brief description of the author, works, problems);
relevance (why the topic is interesting these days);
position wording (own opinion on the topic);
arguments (facts, a reference to authorities or examples from the text confirming your idea);
analysis of counterarguments (why do not you take a different position);
conclusion (conclusions).
Volume of work

How many words you need to write in an essay depends on the topic. To reflect a large and complex topic, you will need up to 1000 words, but usually, 400-500 are enough.
