A graduate of Syracuse University, where she earned her bachelor’s degree, and Fordham University, where she studied toward her masters, Nanci Perle Kushner is a Pilates enthusiast who parlayed her passion for the exercise routine, which develops physical strength and flexibility, into a career. Nanci Perle Kushner spent over two years as a Pilates instructor with Jumping Frogs Pilates, where she took control of group classes in addition to conducting private sessions.

In 2012, she leveraged the experience she gained at Jumping Frogs Pilates to found NPK Pilates in Cresskill, New Jersey. Primarily offering private, duet, and semi-private classes, Nanci Kushner focused on learning about her clients as individuals, allowing her to tailor sessions to their specific needs.

Through her work at NPK Pilates, Ms. Kushner was able to make a living doing something she possesses such great passion for. Further, she gained the experience of running a business and learned to confront the numerous challenges that small business owners face.
