Raised in metropolitan New York City, Natalie Gholomhossani attended Herricks High School in New Hyde Park, New York. In addition to participating regularly at the Jamaica Horseback Riding Academy, she excelled in other fields, such as fine arts, practicing writing, drawing, and dance. Natalie Gholomhossani’s achievements as a dancer include earning the first-place trophy for a grade-11 dance competition and a “Best Dancer of the Year” achievement award from the Moves and Motions Dance Studio.
After graduating from Herricks High with an advanced regents diploma, Natalie Gholomhossani enrolled at Saddleback College in Mission Viejo, California, where she is studying psychiatry. She has received three scholarships to support her post-secondary studies.
In addition to her academic work, Ms. Gholomhossani continues to write and draw as a creative artist. She also advocates for a range of social causes as a member of the American Women’s Foundation, the Academy for Women for Abuse, the American Women’s Iranian Foundation, and the American Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals.
