A former school teacher and educational administrator, Nathan Duncan possesses a bachelor of science in secondary education from Kutztown University of Pennsylvania and a master of arts in educational leadership from Queens University of Charlotte. Over the course of his career as an educator, Nathan Duncan served as a social studies teacher with multiple high schools and as a head of school with the Academy at Trails Carolina in Hendersonville, North Carolina.
Moreover, he served as an environmental education volunteer in West Africa through the Peace Corps. From 2002 to 2004, he assisted with agroforestry projects in Guinea. Four years later, he traveled to Togo where he taught natural resources management.
Today, Nathan Duncan focuses on the outdoors industry as general manager at the Patagonia store in Palo Alto, California. In this capacity, he leads operations and manages 30 employees at a retail location that generates more than $3 million in revenue.
