As an air medical communications specialist with the University of Pennsylvania Health System (Penn Medicine), Nathan Rotenberg handles transportation services for the PennSTAR Flight Program, which includes a critical care ambulances and medevac helicopters. Charged with transportation requests from as far away as 100 miles, Nathan Rotenberg coordinates among transport teams, medical centers, and emergency crews to provide efficient transport for critical care patients.

Active with the Association of Medical Transport Communication Specialists, he holds a Certified Flight Communicator designation. He has advanced emergency medical dispatcher certification from International Academies of Emergency Dispatch and is a Public Safety Telecommunicator with the Association of Public-Safety Communications Officials.

Earlier in his career, Mr. Rotenberg worked as a claims adjuster for The Insurance Adjustment Bureau, Inc, and operated his own photography business. He is co-founder of the Sandra Lee Barry Rotenberg Fund for Adult Sarcoma Research.
