A longtime resident of Goshen, Kentucky, Nelson Clemmens is an experienced senior executive who has owned AmWest Entertainment since 2004. As Chief Executive Officer of the thoroughbred racing technology and online wagering company, Nelson Clemmens has developed AmWest to serve both a domestic and international client base of racing enthusiasts while striving to further the sport worldwide.

An active member of the horse racing and breeding industry, Nelson Clemmens has supported many industry associations such as the Thoroughbred Retirement Foundation and the Kentucky Horsemen's Benevolent and Protective Association. He has built on a career that includes extensive work in the turnaround management and financial service industries as well as being an investor and owner in companies that span multiple business sectors.

Outside of the professional arena, Mr. Clemmens enjoys skiing, hiking, swimming, and gardening. He also stands out as an active community volunteer and charitable contributor who has served as a board member and officer with several large nonprofit groups. Among other organizations, he has supported Community Living, Inc. and the Bellewood Foundation.
