Serving the needs of Northern California community members, New Way Services, Inc., offers those with developmental disabilities services tailored to their specific needs and requirements. The highly trained New Way Services, Inc. team encompasses registered nurses, physicians, recreational thereapist and dietician with efforts facilitated by a qualified intellectual disabilities professional.

The residential care footprint extends to eight homes located throughout Contra Costa County, with each serving the needs of six residents. With a regional center case manager coordinating services, all residential candidates are carefully assessed, and individualized training and habilitation plans developed. Once admitted, further evaluations are undertaken, with team assessments measuring progress undertaken within 30 days of admission

Team assessments are subsequently performed twice a year, so as to ensure that care closely matches individuals’ actual medical and mental health and social needs. All residents benefit from a supportive environment that emphasizes abilities and a “can do” attitude over personal imitations.
