Nick A. Prater of Kansas is a longtime pediatric dentist who has been working to ensure the wellness of infants and children since the early 1980s. Among Nick A. Prater’s areas of extensive knowledge is the use of laser hard and soft tissue surgery in treating young patients. He even has 15 years experience using dental lasers for lip and tongue ties in infants.
A respected voice in his field, Dr. Prater has presented extensively to dentists on topics relating to orthodontics, as well as pediatric and laser dentistry. Dr. Prater has served as president of the Wyandotte County Dental Society and is a life member of the American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry. Married for more than four decades, he has a daughter who is also a pediatric dentist and a son who has embarked on a career in psychiatry.
