Nicholas (Nick) Rauber, DDS, balances his dental career at Aesthetic Dentistry Group in Baton Rouge with his lifetime commitment to philanthropic efforts. Outside of the dental office, he primarily focuses on his role as the director of Swollfest Fishing Rodeo, a nonprofit and fundraising event that he founded in high school. Dr. Nick Rauber has spent the last 18 years growing the three-day tournament in Grand Isle, Louisiana, into a nationally recognized event that supports leading nonprofits, such as the Muscular Dystrophy Association and the American Diabetes Association.
Under his leadership, Swollfest has raised more than $900,000 for various charities since 2000, and it continues to attract upward of 600 participants each year. Dr. Nicholas Rauber also works closely with other local groups while organizing Swollfest, including the Coastal Conservation Association and the LA Mission of Mercy.
In addition to working as a dentist and nonprofit director, Nick Rauber, DDS, contributes to numerous volunteer dental programs, community development efforts, and other nonprofits. For example, he currently mentors pre-dental students with the Louisiana State University Pre-Dental Society and volunteers for the Team Hope Walk with the Huntington’s Disease Society of America.
