Dr. Norman Goldwasser is a clinical psychologist who directs Horizon Psychological Services in Miami Beach, Florida. Emphasizing a holistic, multi-disciplinary approach to psychotherapy, Dr. Norman Goldwasser engages with patients in working through the effects of issues such as personality disorder, addiction and abuse, marital conflicts, and depression. He emphasizes paths to attaining goals that would have been potentially achievable had the trauma not occurred.

In addition to his personal clinical practice, Dr. Goldwasser supervises the work of other clinicians, and maintains an industrial/organizational consultation as part of his practice. He provides services such as executive coaching, team building, business development, and clinical supervision to companies and organizations.

In his career as an educational consultant, Dr. Goldwasser has consulted with schools in Seattle, Los Angeles, Las Vegas, Atlanta, Baltimore, and Richmond, Virginia, and has assisted principals, boards, and teachers in being more effective in operating schools and classrooms. He has also initiated the development of a community learning disability program in Miami, and a college outreach program at the University of Miami.

Respected worldwide in the field of trauma and child sexual abuse, Dr. Goldwasser has presented at public and professional events in locations including Hong Kong, South Africa, Australia, Israel, and throughout North America. He also has been an active regional director and volunteer psychologist for youth outreach organizations such as NCSY, which honored Dr Goldwasser by inducting him into its honor society for lifetime achievement in 2015.
