Serving as a gasoline and naphtha Blender at BP, Omar Mumallah oversees the largest domestic trader-blending operation in the country. In the position, which he started in 2016, Omar Mumallah advises numerous traders on making trades while also providing them with the knowledge focused on blend economics, exports, and storage.

In addition, Mr. Mumallah draws upon a deep knowledge of gasoline and related ingredients to formulate blend recipes for both domestic and international clients. In the past four years, he has also identified and capitalized on new opportunities, such as projects with KMI Pasadena and Galena Park that allowed the company to provide traders with increased flexibility.

Omar Mumallah attended Yale University, where graduated with honors in 2012 with a bachelor of science in anthropology. While there, he gained Leitner, FLAS, and Richter grants, while also being awarded the Sapir Prize for best thesis.

He enjoys reading books on history and philosophy, among other subjects.
