Established in 1972 in the U.S., Oom Yung Doe teaches traditional martial arts (TMA) and has schools throughout the Boston area including a school in Waltham, Massachusetts. It is one of the only schools of its kind in the United States providing complete instruction in eight forms of traditional martial arts. Instruction is provided in Kung Fu, Tai Chi Chung, Jiu Jitsu, Tae Kwon Do, and Ship Pal Gye, the art of the 18 Chinese Weapons, among other areas of focus. Translating as Mind, Body, and a Way to Develop Harmony, Oom Yung Doe provides all students the opportunity to learn their style under the direction of two 9th degree black belt masters, allowing for the potential development of elite skills.

Over the course of nearly five decades, Oom Yung Doe has established itself as one of the region’s most respected schools, being named among the Best Martial Arts Schools in Boston for 2016-2018.
