Drawing on 15 years of experience in leadership positions, Orenn Fells serves the community of Orlando, Florida, as part of the executive board of the N.O.W. Coalition, which he joined in 2014. At N.O.W., Oren Fells is responsible for facilitating community service projects that educate citizens of their legal rights and for organizing rallies and events centered on civil rights and academic excellence in youth.
From 2008 to 2013, Orenn Fells was part of the Brothers’ Keepers College Prep Academy. This organization facilitated student-athletes’ advancement to employment options and higher education as well as implemented a college prep curriculum for these students.
Prior to joining Brothers' Keepers, Mr. Fells worked at Florida State University as an Athletic Academic Advisement Center intern. In this position, he monitored the academic performance of student-athletes and monitored the department for NCAA compliance.
In 2015, Orenn Fells's experience with college prep student-athletes led him to present the work “The Four C’s of Being Coachable” at the Born 2 Win Sports Academy in Fayetteville, North Carolina. Mr. Fells holds a master's degree in sports administration from Florida State University, where his field of study was support services for student-athletes.
