Osvald Milo is a Gulf Coast High School alumnus who pursued health studies at Hodges University from 2010 to 2015, during which time he gained volunteer experience at Korunda Pain Management and worked one year with JMP Medical. From 2014 to 2018, Osvald Milo worked as a medical assistant with the Naples, FL-based Korunda Medical Institute, where he served as part of an interdisciplinary healthcare team responsible for assisting seven doctors and a group of registered nurses. During his time with the Naples, FL family medical practice, he was primarily responsible for administrative duties such as scheduling appointments, maintaining medical records, and processing patients.
Among other accomplishments, Osvald Milo helped to lower the practice's monthly overhead by 12 percent and improve patient satisfaction scores. Since leaving the position, he has been working as a high school baseball umpire with aspirations to work in the minor leagues and eventually in Major League Baseball. He intends to complete required training at an umpire school in Vero Beach in the near future.
