A Northwest Florida innovation consultant, Pam Northrup, PhD, meets the needs of higher education clients in areas such as microcredentialing and adult degree completion. Dr. Pam Northrup has a particular focus on strategies that enable schools and universities to transition to online platforms during a time of COVID-19 and worldwide remote learning.

Among Dr. Northrup’s accomplishments has been working in middle and high school immersive STEM education with Universal Studios. In her work creating a National Flight Academy learning curriculum with TEQGames, one touchstone has been making classrooms resemble theme parks.

A thought leader in her field, Dr. Northrup authored The Handbook of Research on Competency-Based Education in University Settings. The book serves as an important reference source and complements an ongoing book project, “Accelerating Learning for Higher Education.”

In her free time, Pam Northrup has a passion for crafts and chalk painting, as well as photography. One of her favorite subjects is photos of her family when they were growing up, and another current focus is on antique doors and images of fields and flowers.
