A member of the American Institute of Architects, Paul Bunton is the CEO of BCA Architects, a San Jose firm he co-founded in 1988. In his role as CEO, Paul Bunton takes the design lead of many of the firm's projects in the educational, civic, healthcare, and commercial markets, and acts as its representative in presentations to various stakeholders and public agencies.

Leveraging over 35 years of design experience, Paul Bunton's architectural resume includes bond program management and implementation for both the Santa Cruz and Huntington Beach City school districts which collectively total $367 million in educational projects of all kinds. His completed projects spanning his 28 years at the helm of BCA Architects are valued at over $1.5 billion.

A member of the Community College Facility Coalition, Mr. Bunton earned the Award of Excellence from that professional organization for his design of Southwestern College's signature Corner Lot Project. He also received Architect of the Year honors in 2009 from the Silicon Valley Business Journal. He earned his bachelor of architecture degree from Kansas State University in 1982.
