Paul C. Kuo, MD, serves as the Richard G. Connar Endowed Chair of the Department of Surgery at the University of South Florida-Tampa General Hospital and holds tenure as a professor of surgery with the school. His time with the University of South Florida also includes work in its departments of information systems and decision sciences as well as the Muma College of Business. Prior to this, Dr. Paul C. Kuo's work as an MD included positions as chief of the Division of General Surgery at Duke University Medical Center and chairman of surgery at Loyola University Medical Center.

Paul C. Kuo, MD, has an extensive education, including multiple master's degrees as well as a medical degree. He completed his undergraduate and medical degrees at Johns Hopkins University in the 1980s. Since 1998, he has returned to school for three master's degree programs, including a general business MBA from Johns Hopkins, a master's degree in informatics from Northwestern, and a master's degree in predictive analytics from Depaul.
