For more than 30 years, Paul Gilvary has served schools in and around New York City in educational and administrative roles. A graduate of St. John’s University, he currently serves as a math teacher at St. Raymond’s High School in the Bronx. Before taking this position, Paul Gilvary was a substitute teacher with St. Andrew Catholic Academy in Flushing, New York, where he worked with students ranging from fourth grade to eighth grade.
In addition to serving students in the classroom, he has guided local basketball and soccer camps for many years. He is also the athletic chair for basketball and soccer programs for the Catholic High School Athletic Association.
Active in his local parish, Gilvary is an usher at St. Robert Bellarmine Church. When he isn’t working or volunteering, he enjoys vacationing in New Smyrna Beach, Florida, and cheering on his favorite professional sports team, the Boston Red Sox.
