The founder of Rising Stars, Inc., Paul Savramis guides a nonprofit youth foundation located in New York, which began in the 1980s as a series of basketball summer camps. Paul Savramis’ organization has evolved over the years to encompass a variety of summer camps and clinics, as well as other activities that promote education through basketball.
Known for his pioneering role in developing innovation-driven youth programming, Mr. Savramis formerly served as the director of the Eastern Invitational Basketball Camps. His effective training approach translated well on the global stage and was a featured part of college and NBA camps, as well as the Michael Jordan camp. The camps have been held in 27 states, as well as in Canada and Europe.
Mr. Savramis earned his master’s degree in physical education from Queens College with a minor in special education and child psychology. He started his career with the American Red Cross as a water safety instructor trainer. Paul Savramis’ responsibilities involved training water safety instructors and lifeguards across the tri-state area.
