Dr. Andrew Kiyingi is an Australian trained Specialist Weight-loss and General Surgeon with over 15yrs of clinical experience. Dr. Andrew Kiyingi has advanced training in minimally invasive surgery and is a Surgical trainer for the Royal Australasian College of Surgeons.
After receiving the university Gold Medal in General Practice and a Distinction in Surgery, Dr. Andrew Kiyingi completed specialist surgical training at St Vincent’s Hospital in Melbourne, Australia. Dr. Andrew Kiyingi holds a Fellowship (FRACS) under the Royal Australian College of Surgeons in addition to a Bachelor and Medicine and Surgery and a Diploma in Surgical Anatomy.
In addition, Dr. Andrew Kiyingi has undertaken further advanced sub-specialist training in Bariatric (Weight Loss), Minimally Invasive and Emergency Surgery. This included an accredited International Bariatric Fellowship in Liverpool, England. During this time Dr. Andrew Kiyingi working long side world-renowned expert Prof David Kerrigan the current President of The British Obesity & Metabolic Surgery Society.
