A real estate developer with more than four decades of experience, Peter M. Avedon has been instrumental in the construction of numerous one-of-a-kind luxury residences. Currently, he serves as president of Avedon Development Company, Inc., a full-service firm located in Great Neck, New York. Charged with overseeing project development for the firm, Peter Max Avedon works closely with architects and designers to transform unique properties into works of 21st-century art.

Over the course of his career, Mr. Avedon oversaw the construction of more than 60 single-family homes, each approximately 3,000 square feet in size, along Long Island’s South Shore. He also completed two subdivisions comprising 35 homes valued at between $400,000 and $750,000 each. Other significant projects include Valentine Farm Development, a three-acre subdivision with eight homes ranging in size from 8000 to 10,000 square feet.

Mr. Avedon holds a bachelor of science in political science from the University of Dayton. In his free time, he enjoys golf and boating.
