A longtime New England resident, Peter Bria played ice hockey while attending Saint John's High School in Shrewsbury, Massachusetts. After graduating from this private Catholic college prep academy, he matriculated at Salve Regina University in Newport, Rhode Island, where he served as captain of the varsity hockey team and earned recognition as “Sportsman of the Year” during his senior year. Peter Bria also completed a 2-year software development internship with the US Naval Undersea Warfare Center (NUWC).

Mr. Bria remained with the NUWC for nearly a decade after graduation, serving 4 years as a laboratory/platform test engineer, 4 years as an on-site representative, and 1 year as a test and evaluation lead. He went on to work closely with the US Navy as a systems engineer with Innovative Defense Technology and vice president of new technologies with In-Depth Engineering. Peter Bria has performed systems engineering with Sea Corp in Middletown, Rhode Island, since 2018.
