In his capacity as a physician with Victoria Emergency Associates of Austin, TX, Peter Craig, MD, treats patients at Christus Santa Rosa Hospital in the Westover Hills area of San Antonio, TX. Previously, Peter Craig, MD, served as senior partner and emergency room physician at Amarillo Emergency Physicians. The group staffed a trauma center that served more than 60,000 patients annually.

Peter Craig, MD, graduated cum laude with a bachelor of science in chemistry and biochemistry from Arizona State University, where he founded the ASU chapter of Habitat for Humanity. He received his medical degree from the University of Arizona College of Medicine. In addition to serving as a research assistant to Dr. Andrew Weil at the Center for Integrative Medicine, he volunteered at a student-run clinic for refugees and at the Red Cross Clinic.

Dr. Peter Craig has completed numerous advanced training courses. They include Domestic Preparedness Training for Hospital Providers, which he completed in Minneapolis, Minnesota, in June 2001. He has also earned Advanced Trauma Life Support (ATLS) certification.
