A veteran sales engineer in Park Ridge, IL, Peter Hill spent several years in Germany as a child before his family moved to the Chicago suburb of Wilmette. A graduate of New Trier High School in nearby Winnetka, he was an accomplished student who regularly appeared on the honor roll and accrued numerous Advanced Placement (AP) credits while completing his high-school diploma. Peter Hill also stood out as a gifted athlete and musician who lettered in three sports and played oboe as the principal chair for the Chicago Youth Symphony Orchestras during this time.
After he graduated from New Trier, Hill attended the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign, where he received the prestigious Evans Scholarship and served as a member of the Evans Scholars Foundation’s executive committee. In this role, he helped organize numerous fundraisers and charitable events for local and national nonprofit organizations. He ultimately earned a bachelor of science in chemical engineering from the university.
Today, Peter Hill balances his professional life with a commitment to his community. In addition to assistance as a chaperone for school field trips, he has spent the past three years as a coach for the Science Olympiad. He is also an active member of his local church who volunteers with and donates to numerous nonprofit organizations related to education, medical research, military veterans, and animal welfare.
