Maintaining a career in real estate investment extending nearly half a century, Peter R. Friedman heads the New York firm Friedman Equities, LLC. Mr. Friedman’s present projects include a five star resort hotel in the Coachella Valley of California, and a major 1.1 million square foot mixed-use development in Manhattan’s Wall Street area. He is also engaged in arranging a Tribeca neighborhood three-building assemblage that will encompass new ground-up retail and residential developments.

Mr. Friedman began his career in the commercial leasing brokerage sphere in the early 1970s. He achieved a breakthrough in facilitating the relocation of Doyle, Dane & Bernbach to new world headquarters spanning 500,000 square feet. Peter R. Friedman’s innovative approach allowed the company to quickly expand and shrink its requirements for corporate space, reflecting cyclical changes in client numbers.
